We have tried several different 10 mil. Vinyl stocks for the IGen but we get swirl patterns, probably from the static inherent in the stocks. Solids really look bad on all the stock we have tried. I can get vinyl labels to print great but not the 10 mil. I've adjusted the transfer A and B up and down for the stock but still not great. Love to hear any ideas or settings that worked for anyone.

I have run the Xerox vinyl stocks without any many issues at all.. I did have a problem when I first started using them with voids (looking like tracks about 3/8" long) showing down the middle of the sheet. I escalated it to Xerox and they had me change a couple of settings and that seemed to do the trick. The problem is I do not remember what settings they had me change. You may want to call them and let them know your having the problem. I actually scanned one of the printed sheets and emailed a photo of the problem to them and they know right away what to do.

Interestingly I have tried a few other vendors products with some success. The only problem I have had with the others stocks is the durability of the image. The Xerox stock has a coating on it to make it scratch proof and I did notice a considerable difference. The only other thing I did notice is the whiteness of the sheet.

Hope this helps!

If it was an NVM you should be able to do an NVM Compare and sort by Non-default. You might see it and remember.

Dale,

What is the name of the stock that you are running? We have tried a Xerox Polyester stock and we have problems wit the way it looks. Tried adjusted NVM per Xerox but it still doesn't look that great especially with solids.
