We have 3 iGen's and although we wish they were 24/7, they are not.
Most weekends are dark, but humm do these babies go - all weekend.
We turned them off once just to come into a flood. Water overflowed out of all the units (presumably, air conditioning condensate that didn't pump out prior to shutdown). How do any of you deal with this or are we the lucky ones who leak like this?
Thanks in advance.
We've had our Igen3 for a year now. Our condensation water line is hooked into our shop air conditioning drain. We were told that the Igen's pump can pump up to 18 feet high ours is only about 12' long and up about 2' high from the top of the igen. Never had a problem. You also want to make sure who ever is shutting down the Igen is waiting for the pumps to shut down before hitting the main power on the Igen unit. Once you have started the shut down process on the Press Interface the pumps on the Igen will still be going for a bit after the PI shut down has started. You will hear a slight click and the Igen will sound much quieter. At this point you can hit the main power button on the Igen. Hope this helps.
