Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group EAMER Region Announces Single Point of Contact for Customers Ordering Consumables
WATERLOO, BELGIUM, January 3 – Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) is pleased to announce that as of January 2, 2006, it has successfully completed the full integration of its consumables businesses within EAMER (Europe, Africa and Middle East Region). Customers can now contact one order desk, and receive any product through the same warehousing and logistics channels.
“This major step forward not only provides significant benefits to customers by standardizing on one solid and proven logistics infrastructure, but also signifies tangible progress in the integration of the companies that make up GCG EAMER,” says GCG Regional Consumables Director Kevin Cazabon. “Due to the hard work of many internal teams, as of yesterday our inkjet and prepress consumables businesses are one – all the way from order intake, to warehousing, to local delivery.”
Cazabon continues, “At the scale that GCG now operates, a regionalized approach is the most effective solution. Our customers will benefit from more local support, regional warehousing, and a logistics operation based on years of experience in serving customers and delivering these goods in a timely and efficient manner.”
Kodak’s GCG EAMER operates a major central warehouse in Bunschoten, Netherlands, as well as regional warehouses in Italy, France, Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden.
Affected customers have been notified about how these changes will benefit them, and of any alterations in the contact points for their orders.
