Full Version: Designing for Digital Production
Digital Print Forums > Full Color > Digital Prepress and Design

I am tasked with creating a white paper for a customer on how to design their job to make the best use of digital equipment. This is a B&W job, not color and I am looking to not invent the wheel. Does anyone have anything already written that talks to choices of:

types of stock
number of stock in a job
finishing options
sorting, inserting, and mailing
use of pre-printed shells
inventory control
production times and mailing times

or anything else that they should consider.

most of what I have found talks only to fonts, graphics, and file formats that would apply if this was a digital color job.

Thanks
