We recently used our CGS Pressmatcher to match our Nexpress to a customer's Epson 7880.

We were able to match it to less then 2 delta E and the customer was extremely happy with the results.

Their Epson was generating black and grays as full color and the Nexpress was always introducing a magenta cast. We were able to balance this out quite effectively.

We've also used Pressmatcher to make the Nexpress to GraCol quite effectively as well.

It takes less then an hour to get a completed match.

Anyone else use tools like Pressmatcher to match their digital device to another device?

To be truthful I have not heard of it until I read your post. Looks like something that could be useful though. I will have to get some more info on it. Thanks!

It isn't cheap, but we bought it for matching our offset presses to GraCol and the G7 process but can easily be used for digital devices.
