Since our latest software upgrate several months back, I have been having problems with solid (100k or rgb black) printing as a 90% screen of black except when printing using Igen color settings. Xerox has been telling me that it is working as expected as the other profiles simulate. I'm not buying it, 100% BLACK should print as 100% black especially text. They have told me to set text as pure, then to set it as saturation. I have been having inconsistant results and am still struggling with this.

Is anyone else having this problem and what are you finding is the best workflow to fix. I am using Doc USP front end.

we heard this was something to do with the swop cmyk thats why xerox did a swopplus cmyk. we print single colour black alot and we have no problems as we use this swop+ option hope this helps in someway.
