Hello,
I will outline the situation and what I am looking for as briefly as
possibe...so please forgive any missing info.
I have been a Xerox customer for about 10 years now starting with the
doc 40. I experienced signifigant downtime and quality issues with the
machine and the Xerox solution was to add a second machine. As we grew
we continued to experience the same problems ...even with meeting
after meeting with Xerox. The solution has always been "upgrade & that
will fix the problem" we have been through the doc 40, doc 60, 2045,
2060, 6060 and 8000. All with the same problems. They work great at
first, but can't maintain any kind of color or uptime consistency.
Last year we grew quite a bit and lost several clients due to quality
issues & missed deadlines, not to mention the cost of overtime &
reprints. I installed an HP 3050 and ran that some last year. After
meeting (yet again) with about 6 people from Xerox and being told that
it was something we were doing (every suggestion they had we followed)
I told them to just fix it. after 5 hours and 2 techs working on the
machines....same problems, streaking dropouts, magenta problems, not
being able to print red on the 6060, etc. I told them I was done &
unplugged the machines. All equipment has always been serviced by
Xerox.
I have since run all the volume on the one 3050, no downtime and no
complaints about color and quality.
I would like to get as many people together that have a similar
situation and join together in a suit.
What I am looking for is other people who have had similar experiences
with Xerox and how they dealt with it. At this point I have spoken
with severel people who have had a similar experience.
At this point I have the option of battling them legally or going out
of business...and battling them legally.
