Ok!

I see we have 290 members now. I would really like to know What the makeup of this groups is. I know that a lot just watch the sight looking for tips and info. Some participate regularly. Some only contribute when they see something that sounds familiar to them. Some just like to spy on other vendors. Whatever the reason....

Please that the few seconds to respond to this - Lets see what we are made of. 200+ respondents would be GREAT! rolleyes.gif

I think groups like this are a priceless tool and source of imfomation. One by the users for the users, sort to speak. Free to speak and exchange information. This group is unique as it brings together many talented people from not only one area of the digital print arena but from many areas.

Where area are you from smile.gif ??

THanks!

I'm from the Boston area. I've been operating an iGen for a little over 4 years and a NexPress 2500 for about 6 months. Someone I used to work with clued me in on the Yahoo site, and from there I found my way here. Hopefully this can be a good place for resources and I also hope I could help anyone along the way as well.

Thanks

Hi John,

Welcome to the group.

I'm guessing that your Igen experience was with SSbraintree, what made you leave.

I ran across your brother while working on an Indigo last year with Paul Marshall.

What kind of workflow are you using in bridgewater?

Hi Craig. How are ya? I left SS in order to help an ex-fellow employee at Copy Cop fill a position he'd been trying to fill. Long story short, while helping him, I didn't help myself. I'm no longer doing any pre-press for the most part and I'm just running an iGen and a NexPress 2500. Don't get me started on the workflow. I'm with a fulfilment company in Weymouth and the only positive thing now is my 3 minute commute. I was having a problem with my iGen a few weeks ago, and I remembered I was in another forum, which led me to this one. I figured I had enough experience with the iGen that even though I'm not thrilled with my job, that maybe I could help someone else out.
Good to hear from ya, and totally unexpected. Take it easy.

I am from the Orlando area. Moved here in 2004 after the Huricanes. I was in the New England area before that. Can't imagne not being thrilled with your job in Boston. I could not wait to get out of that frozen hell they call New England. I have been running a Nexpress 2500 for 6 months before that I did Pre-Press for the last 20 years. I am enjoying running the Nexpress and living in a area that is growing instead of dieing.
