We are still in the trial and testing of a Xerox 5000 with Creo Spire and was looking to find out which papers are better. We're using Domtar 80 Gloss text and 100 Gloss Cover and different cut sheet from the press room. We find troule with paper stretch and crackling on spines and running cut stocks in large runs. I know these are inherent with the processes but still looking for usable solutions.
Thank You

I run a Igen3 but i will tell you hands down it is much better to use xerox stock than anything else. Why? For sure one thing if you use anything other than xerox your techs will tell you most of the time if something is wrong they will blame the paper you are using most of the time.I tried at first doing the same thing you are using cut down stock and other brands and i did have all kinds of problems not only with the machine but with the paper.Things like skewing, cracking, jams ect.Use xerox stock because first they guarntee it to run right.Second you will have alot less problems i promise. No i dont work for xerox but i have been doing this along time now and know you will have less problems. And they are more willing to help you more if you use there products. And they do work better too in there machines.Hope this helps some.
