All,
We are currently exploring our options to offer remote proofing to some of our customers.
Remote proofing, meaning put a proofing solution in their location, but route all proofs digital from our prepress servers to their local proofer that we supply.
We are looking at CGS and GMG along with Kodak Veris and was curious if anyone has had success implementing such a solution?
Had you implemented, how did you solve these issues?
-Accounting for proofs printed?
-Supplies, ink, heads, paper, etc? Customer provide or did you?
-Network speed and proof size?
-Restricting customer from using the proofer as their own proofer?
-Color consistency and validation of color?
-Support of proofing solution (break / fix, network remote support, etc)?
