Hi all
Just installed the Igen3 in December 2006 along with an online Bourg stitcher & sheet rotator. We have been haveing problems with this. Xerox have changed some rollers & added some clutches at the exit of the bypass transport in the hope that it will solve the problem. Have run a couple of books through & it seems to be better, but not a sufficient amount to claim that it has fixed the problem. Was just wondering if anyone else is running an online Finisher & how it works for them?
Kind Regards
Archer

Hi Archer,
I haven't run the borg; however, I have worked with the plockmatic. We experience problems from time to time and overall machine slowdowns and problems.
What types of problems are you encountering? Does running the borg bookletmaker slow down the press?
Cheers,
John

Morning John
The problems I,ve been experiencing can be narrowed down to 1 aspect - the "SHEET ROTATOR". The rollers Xerox installed were a mod to counter varients in speed "I guess" & probably should have been installed from day 1. This being said, I haven't noticed a great slowdown of the machine. But will monitor it over the next couple of days to confirm. Will also keep topic up to date as to wether or not the mod rollers have solved the problem.
Thanks
Carl

great. i definately look forward to hearing more. what size booklets do you typically make? what stock weights? does the jamming happen more frequently with particular stocks? (i assume you are only running stocks from the recommended materials list:)
