3 iGens, 3 shifts (2-man), 24 hours...
We mostly run 12x18 80#, 100#, 110# Cover stocks.
Most of our runs are small, between 50-1000 pieces. But we average 300-400 jobs a day.
Hello Paipia...welcome aboard.
When you say 3 shifts (2 man)....does that translate to you having 6 full time iGen operators per shift? 2 per machine?
If you are running such large volumes especially with 300 to 400 jobs/day what is your daily maintence like per machine? I ask bcuz we run a large amount of 12 x 18 stock and it seems to give us a lot of maintence issues....perhaps more than what anyone would consider "normal".
How do your fuser rolls hold up on the 12 x 18 stock? Do they seem to wear down fairly quickly based on your volume?
I'm debating switching out fuser rolls when we print to other stocks, 11 x 17, 8.5 x 11, etc...
