Upgrades are sometimes free, but usually it depends on whether you are contracted for maintenance on your vipp license or under your equipment lease. You should check with your sales rep or product analyst.

Best bet is your Xerox analyst - they can get the latest or anything and it pays to keep contact with them becuase of the resources they can bring to you.

I agree, the Xerox Analysts can be your best friend when it comes to staying on top of the process to get the updates to VIPP and the IDE.
