This might be a vauge question but here goes...........can you take a end design native art file and import a HML file of variable data and output a print ready PDF? We will be using creo as our DFE and the version will be 2.4. Any help would be great.

yes, that is vague. do you mean html file for the variable data? I am not firmiliar with any variable data composition / design tool that reads in html; however, there could be one out there. Typically data files are ascii text, excel spreadsheets, xml and csv (ascii text).
Usually composition applications prefer for your static components to be a pdf; however, some composition programs fully function with native files (usually these apps are a plugin to something like quark or indesign).
