Thought I would share something that I found last week.. In the past when using remote docusp job submission with explorer you would have to refresh the screen after every job submission or you would get same file names.. THe jobs would still be the correct job they would all just have the same name as the first submission and when you first launch it would error out and would need a refresh. The work around I was using and I know other who use it was the refresh.

What I found out was that if you use Netscape instead of Explore, all the problems are gone and you can just send one right after the other . AND no errors when launching...

Thanks for the info Dale, we had to disable all remote access after we were hacked and used as a Proxy Server for the world's porn sites, when we went to 1.9 in Jan 05.

As for being quiet - I am still working with service team on my quality issues with Harmonic Streaks in all the colors but primarily in black currently, though we might be on to the root cause-at least in black my current trouble color and a theory on a cause in the other colors which are still occurring randomly off and on. The other colors did smooth out considerably after a 2nd Power supply replacement in Cyan & Magenta and the DC614 was run last week. We also are in one of our Peak Production periods of the year, so that is keeping me from spending alot of time online.

Has anyone out here upgraded to 2.4 yet? Encountered any bugs or problems since upgrading? I heard from one of our analysts that there is a major bug if you use the Freeflow Digipath in your workflow.

Last I heard was that problem did not exist when using firefox either.
