Has anyone encountered problems with Mac clients corrupting the .ds store file on Windows file servers? That corruption causes mac clients to see the same folder twice in the finder, though it is only on the file server once. The directory is not actually duplicated, just the display of it from the mac.

We recently have. The resolution we are persuing is turning off the creation of .ds store files on network connections. Information about this can be found on apple.com, Article ID: 301711

Has anyone tried this? Experienced this problem, etc?
