Hi all
We are experiencing problems with our paper. After printing a batch, for example a book of some sort. If you place the paper on a flat surface it has 2 or 3 waves along the short edge. Saying that, the paper has the charactaristic before print aswell, just not so apparent.
Our stores are not temperature regulated and our print room is well regulated with under floor air conditioning.
Has anyone ever had a paper problem of this nature before?
How and where do you store your Paper?
Any Suggestions?
Thanks
Carl

Sounds like humidity could be your problem. Stock should be stored in a climate controlled area. Also, depending on what press you are using, you could try adjusting the substrate settings, make sure the timing of all the motors are in sync, possibly even try changing the grain directions of the sheet. We store our large sheets in the warehouse, the stock we most commonly use is stored on shelves right at the press, I order what i need from the warehouse on the other side of the plant, they bring it, i cut it down to press sheet size and restock my own inventory.
