We just got a bunch of yellow toner with the green dot on it. Haven't put it in yet, but our FE has already put the patch on.

I'm curious if anyone has already changed over to this new yellow and if anyone has info on what changed? Did the color shift dramatically or just a bit and linerization took care of it?

Wouldn't it be prudent to also do a developer change?

Patrick, since you already have the patch installed (without the new yellow DryInk in your replenisher) and you probably already ran a linearization with the new linearization client:
Did you already see a color shift in yellow?

Probably not, since yellow is a really difficult color to see color shift :-)

And when you fill-in the new yellow DryInk you probably will not see any color shift either.


ruby148, you are absolutely right. I would highly recommend to change the yellow developer (and clean the complete replenisher and DryInk station of yellow too).
