Is the training provided by Kodak a good value?
Having been through the training myself I thought it was presented well. Though I will not spend all that much time working on the press I found the training to be complete. The idea of training operators with parts and machines that are Kodaks and not mine is an important value. In the class I was in, a couple blanket cyliders were damaged. The web was finger printed up and many wires were broken. The whole time I couldn't stop thinking that I was glad they weren't parts I had paid for.

I thought the Kodak training was fantastic. It was just the right balance of all the areas one needs to learn to get ready to run a Nexpress. The learning all about the ORC's in a lab / classroom environment is far better then burning through the ones you've paid for.
Also, getting someone out of the production environment and into the classroom means they should be 100% focused on learning and not getting production out.

I think as Kodak continues to gain market share and sell products to printers with Digital experience they will need to cater a class to existing digital printers. Focus on the Nexpress components and maintenance and drop some of the "how digital works."
I definately agree that they do a good job.
