I am running a iGEN3 / Creo DFE

I was wondering if someone could help me with why am I able to scratch the image off. Last year I ran into this problem and at the time we had a lot of humidity problems. We fixed the humidity problems and the scratching problems went away. there are some exceptions though.....on 10pt with some colors I am able ( with some force ) to scratch off of the thicker stock. As far as thinner stock 80lb 60lb cover and so on there was no way it was coming off. Is this normal for heavy stock? This is not xerox paper and I agree it would be petter quality but it's just not going to happen. We are running 10pt Carolina.

Thanks

We have been using 10pt. and 12pt. Carolina for over a yr. and it's been fine. Make sure your fuser arc is set to 14.5 mm as Xerox instructs ours was off once and did cause scratching. Also make sure your stock is properly programed in your Stock Library, if it's programed wrong ie. thickness, this will cause scratching as well. Hope this helps.

Don't use glass finish paper. Haha. That stuff made the iGen toner look like a lotto ticket.
