I have to try to print on plastic stock on a Xerox 7000. I have output an ECi202V.tif chart in several ways, read the chart with ProfileMaker, built an ICC profile and plugged it in. I still get the wrong color. I calibrated the stock and saved/applied it to CustomStock1.

Can you point me to the correct procedures?

Here are 2 screenshots of where I am applying the ICC profile attached.

What DFE do you have on the 7000?

edit: nevermind, screenshots show a fiery icc path.

Assuming the file is CMYK, you should see color conversion.

However, do you still have the RGB of the file?

If not, have you tried applying the icc in Photoshop and printing to the Fiery?

I'd work with your Xerox Analyst to see if they can help you.

The reality is you are trying to create a paper ICC profile, you might need to apply it to the output simulation not cmyk simulation. Keep the cmyk simulation the same, pre profile generation and after.

Not sure if you can control the output or paper simulation on a Fiery?

Yes on a Fiery you can as long as you have the Graphic Arts package (ColorWise Pro tools).
