Do you do any other things as part of daily maintenance other than what Kodak suggests?
For managers: Do you find it challenging to get operators to do daily maintenance? Do you see the benefits of doing daily maintenance? For operators: Do you see the benefit of doing daily maintenance? Does your management understand the need for the time to do that maintenance? -------------------- |

As a fairly new Nexpress 2500 Operator 12/06 I would suggest doing everything Kodak recomends for daily maint. And then some. Some of the extras I do maybe not on a daily basis but weekly. Remove and vacuum out B/C brushes Wype down Perfector Belts Vacuum paper dust from feeders. Basicly I take a good look at everthing and if it dosn't look right it gets cleaned. I have great support from management here and Daily Maint. will only take me 20 min or so even with doing a little extra. |
